Summer Program

The Summer Workshops are legendary at Entreamigos!   The workshops began in 2006 and have run continuously, providing a spectacular range of classes and opportunities for children ages 3 – 17.

The majority of classes are taught by volunteers, with nearly 90 people contributing to the success of the program every summer.   Classes depend entirely on the offerings and interests of the teachers but always include aspects of art, dance, sports, local culture, adventure, english and technology.   Optional swimming lessons are offered in the afternoons.

Registration for summer camp is held over two days (normally the Thursday and Friday) prior to the camp starting date.   Camp dates are determined in the spring and are dependent on the public school SEP calendar.   Most camp choices fill completely, we recommend that you arrive early on the registration date to ensure that your student gets the classes that they are interested in.   No spaces may be held or reserved.

This very low cost and high quality camp is accessible for all residents of San Pancho.   Scholarships and parental volunteer exchanges are also available.

Volunteers are critical to the success of the Summer Workshop program.   Volunteers can assist in designing and leading a class (1.5 hours/day for five days).   Volunteers can also offer to help where they are most needed.  Some opportunities include overseeing the swimming pool, helping serve food to children who come without snack and always, helping to clean up and maintain the facility.
